Andres (Andrew) and Gailda Tenorio
Andrew and Gailda live in the majestic mountains of the Mescalero Apache Reservation in New Mexico close to their 3 children and several grandchildren.
Andrew Nieto Tenorio is a Pueblo Indian born in Santa Fe and raised in Santa Domingo where the people are well-known for their hand-crafted jewelry and pottery. He has become a well-known local artist and accomplished silversmith.
Gailda Evans Tenorio is a Mescalero and Chiricahua Apache. She has been recognized for her outstanding beadwork. All of her creations are individual in color and design. She rarely draws a pattern; they take on their individual look as they are created. Her beautiful and intricate creations can also be seen on handbags, moccasins, and headbands.
Bryan, their son, is following in the family tradition. His paintings and wood carvings are soon becomming treasured items in the area.
The Tenorios believe that God has given them this special talent to share with the world.
